Anubias barteri var. nana ‘Peacock’ is a distinctive aquatic plant valued for its compact growth and attractive green foliage. Its elegant leaves create beautiful texture and contrast, making it an excellent choice for foreground and midground areas in freshwater aquariums. This slow-growing Anubias thrives under low to moderate lighting and generally does not require additional CO₂. Attach the rhizome to rocks, driftwood, or other hardscape rather than burying it in the substrate. Hardy, adaptable, and easy to maintain, ‘Peacock’ is suitable for both beginners and experienced aquascapers, adding long-lasting greenery and refined natural detail to planted aquarium layouts.
