Bacopa monnieri is a hardy and versatile stem plant known for its bright green, rounded leaves and clean upright growth. Its fresh coloration adds a natural, vibrant look to planted aquariums and works beautifully in midground and background areas. This adaptable plant can grow under low to moderate lighting, while stronger light, supplemental CO₂, and balanced nutrients encourage denser and faster growth. Regular trimming promotes branching and helps create a fuller, bushier appearance. It is also easy to propagate by replanting healthy stem cuttings. With its simple care requirements and attractive foliage, Bacopa monnieri is an excellent choice for both beginner and experienced aquascapers.
