Blue Jerry Shrimp – Beautiful Sky-Blue Freshwater Aquarium Shrimp
The Blue Jerry Shrimp, commonly known as the Blue Jelly Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi), is a charming ornamental freshwater shrimp admired for its delicate sky-blue coloration, translucent appearance, and peaceful nature.
Selectively bred for its beautiful light-blue tones, this attractive shrimp creates a refreshing contrast against lush green aquatic plants, mosses, and natural aquarium decorations.
Blue Jelly Shrimp are excellent additions to mature planted aquariums, nano tanks, and peaceful shrimp communities. They spend much of their time exploring plants, driftwood, and substrate while grazing on natural biofilm, soft algae, and organic particles.
Hardy, active, and relatively easy to care for, these colourful freshwater shrimp are suitable for both beginner and experienced aquarists.
Their soft blue coloration, small size, and fascinating grazing behaviour make them a wonderful choice for aquascaping enthusiasts.
