Bucephalandra ‘Brownie Ghost’ is a highly sought-after aquatic plant prized for its compact growth and remarkable metallic coloration. Its leaves can display beautiful shades of deep green, blue, purple, and bronze, often developing an attractive iridescent appearance under suitable aquarium lighting. This slow-growing plant is ideal for foreground and midground placement, particularly when attached to rocks or driftwood. Low to moderate lighting is sufficient, while supplemental CO₂ and balanced nutrients can encourage stronger growth and richer coloration. Keep the rhizome above the substrate to prevent rot. ‘Brownie Ghost’ is an exceptional choice for aquascapers seeking rare-looking color, texture, and premium visual appeal.
