Bucephalandra ‘Sintang’ is an attractive slow-growing aquatic plant known for its elegant, textured foliage and rich natural coloration. Under suitable aquarium lighting, its leaves can display beautiful shades of deep green, bronze, blue, and subtle purple with a delicate metallic sheen. Its compact growth makes it ideal for foreground and midground placement, particularly when attached to rocks or driftwood. Low to moderate lighting is suitable, while supplemental CO₂ and balanced nutrients can encourage healthier, denser growth and enhanced coloration. Keep the rhizome above the substrate to prevent rot. ‘Sintang’ is an excellent choice for nature-style aquariums, nano tanks, and detailed freshwater aquascapes.
