Echinodorus ‘Fancy Twist’ is an eye-catching ornamental sword plant prized for its distinctive foliage and attractive color variation. Its leaves can develop beautiful shades of green, bronze, red, and reddish-brown, while the gently twisted or wavy growth adds unique texture and movement to planted aquariums. Its compact-to-medium rosette form makes it an excellent choice for midground or feature placement. Moderate to strong lighting, a nutrient-rich substrate, and balanced fertilization help promote healthy growth and richer coloration. Supplemental CO₂ can further encourage vigorous development. With its unusual leaf form and warm colors, ‘Fancy Twist’ makes a striking centerpiece for colorful freshwater aquascapes.
