Hemigraphis colorata ‘Exotica’ is a striking tropical ornamental plant prized for its deeply textured foliage and rich metallic coloration. Its leaves can display beautiful shades of dark green, silver, bronze, purple, and burgundy, creating dramatic contrast in terrariums, paludariums, and humid tropical displays. It thrives in high humidity with bright indirect light and consistently moist, well-drained growing media. Hemigraphis ‘Exotica’ is not a true aquatic plant and should not be kept permanently submerged underwater. For paludarium displays, keep the roots moist while allowing the foliage to remain above the waterline. Its compact growth and colorful, crinkled leaves make it an excellent decorative accent.
