The Japanese Medaka Ricefish (Oryzias latipes) is a charming freshwater fish admired for its graceful swimming behaviour, peaceful temperament, and remarkable adaptability.
Native to East Asia, particularly Japan, this small and active fish is commonly found in shallow ponds, rice paddies, and slow-moving freshwater habitats.
