L134 Leopard Frog Pleco – Stunning Yellow & Black Freshwater Catfish
The L134 Leopard Frog Pleco (Peckoltia compta) is a spectacular freshwater catfish admired for its striking yellow-and-black pattern, compact size, and fascinating bottom-dwelling behaviour.
Native to Brazil's Rio Tapajós river system, this beautiful pleco features bold dark bands and irregular markings across a golden-yellow body, creating an eye-catching leopard-like appearance.
Unlike many larger pleco species, the L134 remains relatively compact, making it an excellent choice for appropriately sized freshwater aquariums.
These fascinating catfish spend much of their time exploring driftwood, rocky structures, and sheltered areas, becoming especially active during the evening.
With its distinctive markings, manageable adult size, and generally peaceful temperament, the L134 Leopard Frog Pleco is a wonderful addition to established tropical aquariums.
An excellent choice for aquarists seeking a colourful, unique, and highly desirable freshwater pleco.
