Ludwigia arcuata, commonly known as Needle Leaf Ludwigia, is a stunning aquatic stem plant prized for its delicate, narrow leaves and vibrant coloration. Under strong lighting and favorable growing conditions, its foliage can develop beautiful shades of green, orange, copper, and bright red, creating striking contrast in planted aquariums. Its slender, graceful growth makes it ideal for midground and background placement, especially in colorful Dutch-style aquascapes. Supplemental CO₂ and balanced fertilization encourage healthy, compact growth and more intense coloration. Regular trimming promotes branching and creates dense, bushy groups. With its fine texture and brilliant colors, Ludwigia arcuata adds elegance, depth, and visual impact to freshwater aquascapes.
