Red Rili Shrimp – Unique Red & Transparent Freshwater Aquarium Shrimp
The Red Rili Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) is a beautiful ornamental freshwater shrimp admired for its distinctive red-and-transparent body pattern, peaceful nature, and fascinating grazing behaviour.
Selectively bred for its striking appearance, this attractive shrimp typically features vibrant red coloration on its head and tail, contrasted by a clear or translucent middle section. Its unusual pattern creates a stunning visual effect against lush green aquatic plants, mosses, and natural aquarium decorations.
Red Rili Shrimp are excellent additions to mature planted aquariums, nano tanks, and peaceful shrimp communities. They spend much of their time exploring plants, driftwood, and substrate while grazing on natural biofilm, soft algae, and organic particles.
Hardy, active, and relatively easy to care for, these colourful freshwater shrimp are suitable for both beginner and experienced aquarists.
Their distinctive pattern, small size, and natural grazing habits make them a wonderful choice for aquascaping enthusiasts.
