Rotala rotundifolia ‘Manipurensis’ is a beautiful aquatic stem plant admired for its delicate, narrow leaves and attractive coloration. Under strong lighting and favorable aquarium conditions, its foliage can develop stunning shades of fresh green, golden orange, pink, and reddish tones, creating elegant contrast against surrounding aquatic plants. Its graceful, upright growth makes it an excellent choice for midground and background placement in planted freshwater aquariums. Moderate to strong lighting, supplemental CO₂, and balanced fertilization encourage healthy growth and richer coloration. Regular trimming promotes branching and creates dense, colorful bushes, while stem cuttings can be replanted for propagation. With its refined texture and vibrant appearance, Rotala ‘Manipurensis’ is an excellent choice for Dutch-style aquariums and nature-inspired freshwater aquascapes.
