Rotala rotundifolia ‘Wayanad’ is an attractive aquatic stem plant admired for its delicate, narrow leaves and elegant, upright growth. Under strong lighting and favorable aquarium conditions, its foliage can develop beautiful shades of fresh green, golden orange, pink, and reddish tones, creating lovely contrast against surrounding aquatic plants. Ideal for midground and background placement, this plant looks especially stunning when arranged in dense groups. Moderate to strong lighting, supplemental CO₂, and balanced fertilization encourage healthy growth and vibrant coloration. Regular trimming promotes branching and creates lush, bushy clusters, while stem cuttings can be replanted for propagation. With its graceful texture and colorful appearance, Rotala ‘Wayanad’ is an excellent choice for Dutch-style aquariums and nature-inspired freshwater aquascapes.
