Rotala sp. ‘Green’ is a beautiful aquatic stem plant admired for its vibrant green foliage, delicate leaves, and graceful growth habit. Unlike many colorful Rotala varieties, this plant maintains its refreshing green coloration even under strong lighting, creating stunning contrast against red and orange aquatic plants. Its elegant, upright growth makes it an excellent choice for midground and background placement in planted freshwater aquariums. Moderate to strong lighting, supplemental CO₂, and balanced fertilization encourage healthy growth and dense foliage. Regular trimming promotes branching and creates lush, bushy clusters, while stem cuttings can be replanted for easy propagation. With its bright green tones and natural appearance, Rotala sp. ‘Green’ is perfect for Dutch-style aquariums and nature-inspired freshwater aquascapes.
